Zahlé Climate and Geology
The climate of Zahle is dry, the air is pure and the sky is limpid. Snowcapped mountains tower above it in winter, while in summer its 1010 meter elevation keeps the air light and the abundance of water tempers the heat and increases the charm of Zahle climate and the splendor of its valley.
The approaches of the city are composed usually of an earth limestone white, propice to the fruit trees, in particular the olive, apples, and cherry trees and most importantly grapes. It has the inconvenience to be not very productive because of his steep slope.
