Our Commitment to Sports
As part of the CR program and EDZ relationship with the community, our contribution in the sport industry is becoming increasingly significant with our support to sport organizations, sport events and individual athletes as well.
In April 2007, Electricité de Zahlé sponsored rally driver Pierre Haddad in the 23rd Rallye du Printemps (spring racing rally) competition.
Aimed at making a difference in people lives through sports, the Beirut Marathon Association (BMA) is a non-profit non-governmental organization whose mission is to passionately manage the annual international marathon in Lebanon. EDZ supported the BMA in many events starting with its contribution to the organization and realization of Zahlé international marathon in 2007, to providing utility expertise in the annual Beirut International Marathon as well.
